APICS Member Types Outside North America

Outside North America, operations and supply chain management professionals can be involved in the APICS community with three membership types. Below are synopses of each of the primary member types internationally. Click for a more detailed listing of member benefits by member type.

• International Associate Member (Joint Member)
  
  The primary relationship for this member type is between the individual and the APICS International Associate (IA). International Associate members receive email communications from APICS, including APICS eNews and APICS Operations Management Now.  In addition, they receive a printed copy of the APICS magazine.
  
  This member type receives APICS member savings and all of the electronic benefits of APICS membership, including access to the APICS website, APICS Career Center, online publications, and more.
  
  IAs pay APICS $95USD for each International Associate member, but set the dues amount they collect from members independently.
  
  
  
• International Professional Member
  
  This member type receives all of the benefits APICS members in North America receive, including printed communications and publications, electronic communications and publications, the APICS website, members-only savings, and more.  In addition, International Professional Members are eligible to vote and hold office.
  
  International professional members pay $200USD in dues directly to APICS. These members are located across the globe, but primarily join APICS in areas without an IA.
  
  
  
  
• International e-Member
  
  This member type receives APICS member savings and all of the electronic benefits of APICS membership, including access to the APICS website, APICS Career Center, online publications, and more. This member type does not receive any printed materials from APICS or the IA.
  
  International e-members pay $125USD in dues directly to APICS.
  
  
  
• Enterprise Professional Member
  
  This member type is set up but a company and the individual members receive all of the benefits APICS members in North America receive, including printed communications and publications, electronic communications and publications, the APICS website, members-only savings, and more.  In addition, Enterprise Professional Members are eligible to vote and hold office.
  
  Also in areas with an IA nearby, APICS provides the international professional members’ contact information to the IA so the IA can share local opportunities, courses, and so forth with them. The IA is not expected to provide member benefits to these individuals.
  
  Enterprise Professional Members dues are typically $200USD paid directly to APICS. In areas with an IA nearby, APICS provides the international professional members’ contact information to the IA so the IA can share local opportunities, courses, and so forth with them. The IA is not expected to provide member benefits to these individuals.  APICS will also provide a $50 being given as a rebate to the IA, but in some cases a discount may be given based on the size of the company (Note: Enterprise Memberships may be discounted or pro-rated based on the Company).
  
  
  
• Enterprise Professional e-Member
  
  This member type is set up but a company and the individual members receive APICS member savings and all of the electronic benefits of APICS members in North America, including access to the APICS website, APICS Career Center, online publications, and more. This member type does not receive any printed materials from APICS or the IA. In addition, Enterprise Professional e-Members are eligible to vote and hold office.
  
  Enterprise Professional e-Members pay $125USD in dues directly to APICS. In areas with an IA nearby, APICS provides the international professional members’ contact information to the IA so the IA can share local opportunities, courses, and so forth with them.
